"Switch On" Ceremony 2009
The Deepavali Light Up Switch On Ceremony marks the start of the Deepavali festive season in Little India with the turning on of festive street lights. Highlights of the evening include cultural performances, presentation of a cheque for President’s Challenge 2009 and appearances by finalists from the popular reality show “Vasantham Star”.
